Trump cancels summit with Kim

 

  President Donald Trump has cancelled the planned June 12 summit in Singapore with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un, citing the “tremendous anger and open hostility” in a recent statement from North Korea. It came on a day that North Korea dismantled its nuclear bomb testing site, in the presence of some invited journalists.

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode Adopts LASU Best Graduating Student, Gifts Him N5 Million


   Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State gave the sum of N5 million to the Best Graduating student of the Lagos State University (LASU), Fuhad Adetoro. The governor made the cash donation to Fuhad during the convocation ceremony at LASU which took place at the institution’s Ojo campus. Governor Ambode also adopted Fuhad and pledged to sponsor Fuhad’s Masters programme to any University of his choice.

   The National Universities Commission (NUC) has released a list of 58 illegal universities operating in Nigeria. According to a publication dated May 14, which reads, “For the avoidance of doubt, anybody who patronises or obtains any certificate from any of these illegal institutions does so at his or her own risk.” According to the NUC, certificates obtained from the institutions will not be recognised for the purposes of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), employment and further studies.

   Donald Trump has a simple defense in the lawsuit filed against him by former 'Apprentice' contestant Summer Zervos STATING she's a liar and truth is a defense. Zervos sued Trump for defamation after he said she was making up the story he allegedly sexually assaulted her during a 2007 business meeting at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

    Football legend Ronaldinho is to marry two women at the same time according to reports in Brazil. The Samba ace will reportedly tie the knot in August with his pair of "fiancees", Priscilla Coelho and Beatriz Souza. The two women have been living "harmoniously" with the former Barcelona star since December at his £5million Rio de Janeiro mansion, according to reports. Ronaldinho started dating Beatriz in 2016, but continued his relationship with Priscilla, which began several years earlier.
