Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are suing the Mail on Sunday newspaper after it published one of the Duchess's private letters.
In a statement on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's official website this evening, Harry said he had been a "silent witness" to Meghan's "private suffering" for too long.
Law firm Schillings, representing the duchess, 38, confirmed she had filed a High Court claim. She is suing over the alleged misuse of private information, infringement of copyright and breach of the Data Protection Act 2018.
