Tarzan's son kills his mom, and he is also shot dead by the police at the scene

   Tarzan actor Ron Ely's wife was stabbed to death by the couple's son, according to police. Valerie Lundeen Ely, 62, was killed in the brutal stabbing which unfolded at her home in Hope Ranch, California.

   The police subsequently shot callous killer Cameron, 30, dead at the scene. They were alerted to the stabbing at the couple's lovenest on Tuesday.

   Ron's wife was found dead with multiple stab wounds which she sustained in the attack. Any motive for the violence is yet to be released by the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office. Ron, 81, wasn't harmed at the time, according to reports. No police officers were injured in the incident.

   Ron and Valerie were married for 35 years since they tied the knot in 1984. The couple raised three children at their home together: Kirsten, Kaitland and Cameron. Actor Ron is best known for his acting in Tarzan TV series on NBC.
