Two teens arrested after Dutchtown High lockdown

Two juveniles, ages 15 and 16, were arrested Thursday on counts of terrorizing and booked into the St. Bernard Parish Detention Center after deputies responded to Dutchtown High School regarding a possible active shooter, Ascension Parish Sheriff Bobby Webre said late Thursday afternoon.

The school was placed on lockdown about noon Thursday, immediately after deputies received a 911 call regarding a potential threat. An all clear was given at 1:05 p.m. for the school to lift the lockdown after deputies secured the school and no credible immediate threat was found, the Sheriff's Office said earlier on Thursday.
