Retired General Aminu Muhammad Bande has won the governorship primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kebbi state.
The primaries was peaceful amid tight security at the royal platform in Birnin Kebbi. Bande, who scored 471 votes, was followed by Dr Buhari Bala the former minister who polled 43 votes, while Garba Haruna scored 22 votes and Samaila Sambawa scored 21 votes.
