(LOCAL) National Industrial Court In Abuja Orders First Bank Of Nigeria Plc To Pay 2015 Retirees Their Entitlements

 

 
  The National Industrial Court sitting in Abuja, on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, ordered First Bank of Nigeria Plc to pay its 2015 retirees their entitlements.

   Justice Sanusi Kado, delivering  judgment on behalf  of  Justices Benedict Kanyip and Rakiya Haastrup. Justice Kado in the judgment declared that the dispute between the parties was a Trade Dispute and the Industrial Arbitration Panel, IAP, had the jurisdiction to have listened to the matter.
The judge further declared that the respondents had authorisation to sue in representative capacity.

   Sodiq said after I paid her (Iya Shade)N32,000, she wanted me to lie to her brother and I refused. She became annoyed and said I wanted to tear her family apart; she told me to park out after my rent must have expired without giving me a notice to quit, but I still went ahead to make arrangements to leave.
