Governor Umar Ganduje of Kano State, on Thursday sacked all the serving permanent secretaries in the state civil service.
(LOCAL) FAAN Shuts Down Gombe And Kebbi State Airports Over N732m Debts
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has withdrawn its aviation security and aerodrome rescue and firefighting personnel from Gombe and Kebbi airports over N732.4m indebtedness.
Henrietta Yakubu, the General Manager, Corporate Affairs, FAAN said the withdrawal of FAAN services from both airports, which had technically grounded flight operations, took effect from midnight of May 1.

(LOCAL) EFCC Arrests 37 Suspected Yahoo Boys In Imo
The South East Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 37 suspected Internet fraudsters, otherwise known as Yahoo Boys in Owerri, Imo State.
EFCC’s Acting Spokesman, Tony Orilade, in a statement yesterday in Abuja disclosed that the arrest followed a raid on some targeted residences in Okwu Urata, Aladinma and Egbu areas of the city.
