Senate- Suspending tokunbo car importation on land may increase hardship

       

       The house of representatives has asked president Muhammadu Buhari to suspend the decision of banning the importation of vehicles via land border to the country. The lawmakers said that the policy is too harsh and would further worsen the economic situation of many Nigerians.

New Constitution to be ready March— Dep. Speaker

       The National Assembly on Friday, re-assured Nigerians that a new constitution will be ready between February and March, 2017 to give the presidency ample time to go into it for assent. This is as the erudite jurist, Prince Bola Ajibola, SAN, has said that the country has never had it so bad in terms of economic situation as it was presently, adding that recession, oppression and depression in the polity were alien to the country.
