Bayelsa State Government fish out 5000 ghost workers

The Bayelsa State Government yesterday said it has fished out 5,000 ghost workers from its payroll.

   Former governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Kalu, has felicitated with the Catholic community all over the world on the occasion of Pope Francis’s 80th birthday. According to Kalu, who is also a Catholic, Pope Francis is a reference and rallying point not only to Catholics but Christians in general, adding that the Pope has contributed immensely to global peace through his counsel on conflict resolution.
