Buhari approves appointment of new FRSC Deputy Corps Marshal.

   
  President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Marshal Dauda Biu as Deputy Corps Marshal at the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC.

Embassy of Israel in Nigeria is introducing a new visa application procedure for Nigerians with effect from January 1.

   The embassy made the announcement in a statement by its media unit in Abuja, saying that under the new procedure, Nigerians applying for the visa must first visit the embassy’s website, which is www.abuja.mfa.gov.il and fill the appropriate forms as applicable.

    Government Contact Centre costing N700 million has been inaugurated in Abuja to enhance ease of doing business through technological innovations and information dissemination.

Police Service Commission to begin training of 10,000 recruits December 31.

   
  According to a statement released by the Spokesman of the Police Service Commission, Ikechukwu Ani, six South-West states have beenallocated 1,322 constable slots, out of which;652 will be going  to Lagos, Osun and Ondo states, while 477 will be going to Oyo and Ekiti and Ogun is to receive 193 slots.
