Photo: Former military leader of Gombe and Ekiti state, Muhammad Bawa, dies at 60
Former Military Administrator in Gombe and Ekiti States, Col. Muhammad Inuwa Bawa has died. He died after a brief illness at the age of 60 yesterday May 26th. Born on April 6th 1957 in Yawuri, Kebbi State, late Colonel Bawa studied at Government Colleges in Keffi and Bida, then attended the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria after which he studied at the University of Madras, India.
Actress Funke Akindele Blasts Air France For Delaying Her Luggage For 2days
The actress has been in London since May 24th claimed she is yet to receive her luggage even after the airline promised it’ll only take 24hours to deliver. The actress further in her tweets noted that she has had to buy new clothes as her luggage has failed to arrive despite having complained several times to the appropriate quarters.

Rotimi Amaechi rejects award to be given to him by Nyesom Wike, says its a poisoned chalice
Minister of Transport and former Rivers state governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has rejected the Grand Service Star of Rivers State award his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, is expected to confer on him tomorrow May 27th.
Yesterday, LIB reported that as part of activities to mark the 50th year celebration of the state, Governor Nyesom Wike put together an award ceremony where past leaders of the state will be
awarded for the development they brought to the state when they were in office. Amongst the past leaders penned down for such honor was Amaechi. Recall that both men have remained political rivals for many years now.
Sultan of Sokoto confirms that Ramadan Fast will commence tomorrow, May 27
The first day of Ramadan 1438 fasting will commence tomorrow, Saturday, May 27. In a just concluded press conference, the Sultan of Sokoto - Sa'ad Abubakar III, stated that the moon has been sighted in many states of the Federation.
Reliable sightings of the moon were received from Muslim leaders across the country, and the sightings were verified by the National moon sighting committee. Hence, the fast would commence tomorrow, May 27.
