Fashola advocates for decrease in House rent nationwide
Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, yesterday advocated for a decrease in the house rent collected by landlords nationwide. Speaking at the inauguration of the board members of the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria in Abuja, Fashola said going by the economic slow down being experienced globally, most house owners have adjusted their rent by giving their tenants some discount but in Nigeria, that has not been the case. A young Ugandan billionaire businessman, Ivan Ssemwanga, has been buried in the most 'unique' and rare way ever! TUKO News reports that the flamboyant moneybag who was also Zari Hassan's former husband, was buried with money thrown into the grave by family and friends. He was buried Tuesday, May 30, at his Kanyunga home in Uganda in a ceremony attended by friends and family. The flamboyant tycoon died recently at age 40.
