President Buhari gives approval to vice president Yemi Osinbajo, to sign the 2017 budget

    President Buhari who is currently on medical leave in the United Kingdom, has given approval to vice president Yemi Osinbajo, to sign the 2017 budget.

   This was disclosed in a statement released by the Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu. Read the statement below.

Imo Robbery: NBA To Sue Police, Zenith Bank For Abandoning Family Of Slain Police Officer

 

    The Owerri branch of Nigerian Bar Association on Monday said that it would sue the Nigeria Police Force and Zenith Bank for allegedly abandoning the family of heroic Police Sergeant, Chukwudi Iboko, who died during the February 22, 2017, robbery which took place at the Wetheral Road branch of Zenith bank in Owerri, the Imo State capital. Sergeant Iboko, who killed one of the four armed robbers in the attack, suffered severe gunshot injuries and died the next day in a police clinic in Owerri after he was allegedly rejected at the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri.

  A Nigerian man has cried out online saying his girlfriend's attitude towards him is bad, thinking he is broke. According to him he made her believe he is a struggling person not knowing he is a multi-millionaire. He wrote:

    I started dating this girl early January of this year however we have had too many ups and downs because I have not shown or told her that I have money. She thinks I am just a loser.  When I first met her, she was very nice but not anymore.
