BREAKING: 40 trapped in India building collapse

 
  Thirty people are feared to be trapped after a four-story building collapsed in the Indian city of Mumbai on Tuesday.

    No fewer than 60 volunteers   in the Federal Government’s job creation scheme for youths have had their payments withheld  and may be prosecuted for fraud, the Presidential aide on Job Creation, Mr Afolabi Imoukhuede, said on Monday. He gave the indication while addressing 5,559 N-Power volunteers in Kwara at the Banquet Hall of the Government House, Ilorin.

Controversial Book About The Last Days Of Nelson Mandela Has Been Withdrawn By The Publisher

 

   A controversial new book about the last days and life of South Africa's former President Nelson Mandela titled 'Mandela's last years' has been withdrawn by the publisher.

   Late Mandela's family had complained that the book, written by his doctor, Vijay Ramlakan, contained personal details about the last days of the former president and freedom fighter.

   In a statement issued by the publisher 'Penguin Random House' it said it had pulled the book "out of respect" for the family, saying the author had told the publishers that Mr Mandela's family had asked for the book to be published.

PDP governors, others to visit President Buhari


 
    Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party are among six governors who are scheduled to leave Nigeria today to visit President Muhammadu Buhari in London. It was gathered that the visit was being organised by the office of the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Munguno (retd.).
