Atiku donates N5m to Benue flood victims

 

   Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has donated N5 million to the victims of Benue flooding. In a statement released by the Atiku Media Office in Yola, the chieftain of All Progressives said "the massive flooding in Benue state that has led to the displacement of over 100,000 fellow Nigerians is a harrowing experience and that he is moved to sympathize with the people of Benue State."

NNPC: Petrol now N130/ltr at depots, N142/ltr at stations

    The Nigeria n National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has said the ex-depot price of petrol has dropped from N138 to N133.28 per litre in most of its depots, indicating a gain of N4.72 for marketers. The drop is even sharper in private depots where the price came down to N130 or N131 per litre, a gain of N7 to the buyers.
