We know Tompolo’s hideout, Militant group says



    A militant group, Reformed Niger Delta Avengers, RNDA, says it knows the whereabouts of fugitive ex-militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, and expressed its readiness to guide security agents to his hideout in the creeks of Niger Delta.

  Congo Independent Electoral Commission (CENI) has announced that the long-awaited presidential elections to replace President Joseph Kabila would take place on Dec. 23, 2018.

Saudi prince killed in helicopter crash

   

    A Saudi prince was killed on Sunday when a helicopter with several officials on board crashed near the kingdom’s southern border with war-torn Yemen, state television said. The news channel Al-Ekhbariya announced the death of Prince Mansour bin Moqren, the deputy governor of Asir province and son of a former crown prince.

Presidency Says 81% of Buhari’s appointments are not from the north

 

   The Presidency on Saturday denied a report claiming that 81% of President Muhammadu Buhari’s appointments have been going to the north.

   A statement by the Special Adviser on Media and publicity, Femi Adesina, said that the article originally published by a business newspaper on Sunday, 29th October, 2017, is either an ignorant effort or a mischievous attempt by the publication to mislead the public and portray the Buhari administration in bad light.
