Incumbent Gov. Of Anambra State, Obianno Withdraws From Poll Just 4 Days To Election

   

    The Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano on Monday said he was no longer comfortable standing for the November 18 governorship poll in the state. He said his life and that of his family was in danger as far as the poll was concerned, stressing that his security details had been withdrawn.

Senate approves FG’s $5.5bn foreign loan

  The Senate on Tuesday approved the request of President Muhammadu Buhari to borrow 5.5 billion dollars foreign loan. The loan is made up of 2.5 billion dollars to fund the 2017 Budget and three billion dollars to re-finance the country’s domestic debts.
