Court Nullifies Omo-Agege’s Suspension

 

   The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja yesterday nullified the suspension of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, declaring it unconstitutional. Justice Nnamdi Dimbga while delivering judgment in the suit filed by Omo-Agege (Delta Central) challenging his suspension, held that the reason given by the Senate and Senate President Bukola Saraki for suspending Omo-Agege was unconstitutional.

Oil Production Rises To 2.07m Barrels Per Day

 

   Nigeria’s oil production, including condensates, increased to 2.07 million barrels per day (bpd) last month from 2.02 million bpd in March. It rose by 11 per cent from the level it was in April 2017 acordingto Platts report, citing estimates from the Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
