School Principal Tie Pupils To Crosses For Coming To School Late

 
  The Ogun State Police Command on Wednesday arrested the proprietor and principal of Metorite Standard School, Ayetoro, for allegedly tying up two pupils of the school to  ‘crosses’ and flogging them with a horsewhip. The proprietor, Afolayan Joseph, and the yet to be identified principal were said to have tied the pupils for allegedly coming late to school.

T.I. Arrested In Georgia For Disorderly Conduct

 

   According to a report obtained by WSB-TV Atlanta, rapper T.I. was arrested early this morning as he attempted to reenter his gated community in Henry County, Georgia after a night on the town.  The Henry Country Police Department estimate the time of his arrest at 4 A.M. and apparently it all boils down to T.I. not having the keys to his own kingdom.

Man Wrongfully Jailed In 1991 For Murder Is Exonerated

 

  A man broke down in court after being cleared of murder 27 years after he was wrongly convicted as a teenager. John Bunn, now 41, wept as he thanked a New York judge for exonerating him of the 1991 shooting of correction officer Rolando Neischer.

Dino Melaye gets N10m bail

 

  A Kogi High Court sitting in Lokoja on Wednesday granted bail to Dino Melaye standing trial over alleged criminal conspiracy, illegal possession and dealing in firearms.

FEC approves 15.4bn for 2 road projects



   The Federal Executive Council (FEC) presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari approved 995million dollars  for the reconstruction of the phase II of Abuja – Keffi – Akwanga – Lafia – Makurdi road.
