An Open Letter To Prime Minister Netanyahu

Dear Prime Minister Netanyahu,

   The latest demonstration of Palestinians along the Gaza border with Israel that turned violent was no surprise to me or perhaps to a multitude of Israelis and Palestinians as well. This tragic confrontation that resulted in the death of 120 Palestinians was not the first and will not be the last. Israel has waged three wars against Hamas and countless retaliatory strikes, and yet nothing has fundamentally changed.

Ghana To Dissolve Football Association Over Bribery Allegations

 

  Ghana has decided to dissolve its national football association a day after officials, including the body’s president, were shown in a documentary taking kickbacks, Information Minister Mustapha Abdul-Hamid said on Thursday.

NASS Awaiting Minimum Wage Bill, Assures Of Quick Passage



  The National Assembly has said it will fast track and accelerate the passage of the national minimum wage bill once it is sent as an executive bill by the Executive arms of government and asked both government and organised labour to resolve their differences on the issue as soon as possible in the interest of Nigerian workers.

Customs Impound 2018 Range Rover, 50 Other Vehicles

 
  The Nigeria Customs Service has seized a brand new 2018/ 2019 model Range Rover and 50 other vehicles. Comptroller of Customs, Ogun State Area Command, Mr Michael Agbara, revealed this to reporters on Thursday in Abeokuta, the state capital.

PDP blasts Buhari - 'You can’t use MKO Abiola and June 12 to win 2019 election'




  The Peoples Democratic Party says the national honour proposed to be conferred on the acclaimed winner of June 12, 1993, Chief MKO Abiola by President Muhammadu Buhari, smacks of hypocrisy and political desperation ahead of 2019 presidential election. PDP said that President Buhari’s action merely sought to use the name and person of Abiola to gain a political capital and not out of genuine reverence and recognition for him.
