   The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has, Wednesday, held a press conference where he condemned Tuesday’s invasion of the National Assembly by armed operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS. The conference which also has the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara and many other  Senators and members of the House of representatives, as well as many other distinguished guests in attendance, saw the Senate President narrate how the DSS operatives blocked NASS from carrying out its constituted duties. TESTIMONY- Lady Who Was Pregnant For Four Years & Eight Months Gives Birth To A Baby Girl


     A young lady identified as Nancy Njoku has taken to her Facebook page to thank God as she finally welcomed her bouncing baby girl after 4 years and eight months of carrying her pregnancy. The  husband had deserted her, saying that her husband said he can’t be a husband to a woman who is pregnant of water and cannot deliver it. She wrote:

  The plot to frustrate Governor Samuel Ortom after his daring move to defect from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, took a dramatic turn Tuesday following indication that the state government’s bank accounts have been frozen by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

NASS BLOCKAGE- Saraki, Dogara Blame APC Leadership, FG

 

   The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and the Speaker House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, have blamed the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and officials of the Presidency for the barricade at the National Assembly. Officers of the Department of State Services (DSS), stormed the Assembly complex, preventing lawmakers and staff from entry.

Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio Resigns

 

  Senate Minority Leader Godswill Akpabio yesterday resigned his position. The Akwa Ibom Northwest senator communicated his resignation to Senate President Bukola Saraki in a letter dated August 4th, 2018.
