FAAC: FG, States, LGAs Share N714.809b In August

 

   The Federal Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) rose from its August meeting, on Thursday, declaring that the three tiers of government shared N714.809 billion as revenue generated in July.

   Americans paid their final respects on Friday to John McCain as the national icon lay in state in the US Capitol as part of a momentous sendoff for the war hero and statesman. McCain’s widow Cindy, his seven children and his 106-year-old mother Roberta McCain joined scores of members of Congress, state governors, diplomats and other dignitaries to bid the senator farewell.

Saraki Replies Not Too Young To Run, Says Declaration ‘Made In Good Faith’

 

   Senate President Bukola Saraki has responded to a statement by the Not Too Young To Run movement in reaction to the declaration of his intention to run for the presidency in 2019. His response was contained in a statement signed on Friday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Yusuph Olaniyonu, a day after the movement condemned his action.
