We understand that experiencing happiness in the home is God’s desire for every family. The family is one of God’s most wonderful gifts to mankind. It is a treasure worth cherishing and sustaining. But despite the fact that it is God’s desire for your family to be happy, it is still your responsibility to work it out yourself. Apostle Paul said: …work out your own salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12). In this series, we will be looking at Love: A Requirement for A Happy Family.

(POLITICS) Atiku urges Nigerians to be patient over decision to shift elections by one week

 

   Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has urged   Nigerians to be patient over decision to shift elections by one week. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) gave logistic reasons for shifting all the elections by one week.

(POLITICS) INEC postpones elections till 23 February


   The Independent National Electoral Commission has decided to shift Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections till next week 23 February. The Governorship and state assembly elections will take place on 9 March, instead of 2 March as initially scheduled.

   It was one of the decisions reached early today in a crunch talk between between INEC chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu and 12 national commissioners in Abuja, according to sources close to the meeting. Professor Yakubu will be briefing the media later today on the decision, amidst reports of logistics problems faced by the commission.
