(POLITICS) PDP Rejects Presidential Election Results

   The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has rejected the results of last Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections being announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC

  All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the presidential election in Osun State. At the end of the collation exercise, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the results below:

(LOCAL) Federal Government Warns Against Plan To Truncate Electoral Process



  The Federal Government has strongly warned against ongoing plans by the desperate opposition to truncate the electoral process and render the Feb. 23rd elections inconclusive, in order for them to trigger a constitutional crisis and push for an interim government. The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, issued the warning in a statement issued in Oro, Kwara State, on Monday.

  The Presidential Election results have been announced from INECs collation centre in Abuja and the Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has emerged victorious with the total number of  Two Hundred and Fifty-Nine Thousand, Nine Hundred and Ninety-Seven (259,997( votes.
