(POLITICS) Collation Of Results In Bauchi Elections To Resume March 19- INEC

   

    INEC has said it will on March 19, collation of results will resume at the Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State which had been declared inconclusive. It also said it had approved the appointment of a new Collation/Returning Officer for the LGA to continue and conclude the collation process.

(LOCAL) EFCC Raids Justice Onnoghen's Farm, Seize Documents

   

   The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has been reported to have stormed on Saturday a farm in Nasarawa State, belonging to the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen.

    The operatives, who must have acted on tip-off, were said to have made away with the farm’s documents such as sales books, receipt booklets, staff members list and other documents. Punch reports that about nine EFCC operatives, a cameraman and policemen in a Nissan bus marked Abuja BWR 627AT raided Wanogan Farms Limied located in the Masaka area of Nasarawa State around 3pm and searched the entire premises for over three hours.

(POLITICS) PDP: INEC DISOBEYS COURT ORDER TO ALLOW ATIKU INSPECT 2019 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION MATERIALS

 

    The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC of disobeying court order to allow its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar inspect election materials. In a statement on Saturday, the opposition party said that INEC was in the ploy with the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, that won the 2019 presidential election, describing the act as deliberate and wicked.
