He who, being often reproved, hardens his neck shall suddenly be destroyed—and that without remedy. – Proverbs 29:1, The Amplified Bible

Some people have the mistaken idea that when the direction of the Holy Spirit comes to them, they can just ignore it for a while if they want to and then obey Him later in their own good time. They think to themselves, I know what I’m doing is wrong. I know my lifestyle isn’t right, but I’m just going to do it a while longer. Then I’ll get things straightened out with the Lord.

“The created world itself can hardly wait for what’s coming next.” Romans 8:19 (MSG)

Your God is the Almighty, the possessor of all things. Psalms 24:1 says that the “earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof”. Since everything belongs to your Father, why do you approach Him with a beggarly mindset, asking for a little space; when He can give you territories? You determine what you receive! If you approach God with a bottle or a drum, He will fill it. So the onus lies on you to increase your capacity.

Memorise: “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”- Isaiah 55:11

Read: Isaiah 55:9-13 (KJV)

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
