  Stephanie Idolor, the lady who videoed Success, an angry school pupil sent home for not paying her school fees, is to receive N500,000.

Comedian, Mc Jollof, recently took to his Instagram page and in a video revealed that the Delta State deputy speaker, Friday Osanebi, has requested for Miss Idolor’s account number to credit her with N500,000.

   France and Germany are holding their first joint parliamentary session as part of their commitment to forging closer ties.

   The 50 deputies from each country are from almost all political parties, proportional to their numbers in the national parliaments. The plan is to convene the new joint parliament twice a year in the future. It follows the signing of the Treaty of Aachen, which aims to bolster Franco-German co-operation in Europe. The new parliament’s purpose is to enforce that treaty, signed in January, and to monitor “affairs of common interest” – including foreign policy, security and defence.

  Adams Oshiomhole has insisted that the governing party with majority of senators and members-elect in the 9th National Assembly would not allow the opposition to hijack strategic committees.

   Oshiomhole stated this at a dinner hosted by President Muhammadu Buhari for all the party’s Senators, Senators-elect and some APC state governors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Monday.
