ANDREW WOMMACK DAILY DEVOTIONAL 3RD MARCH

Topic: To Whom Much Is Given

MATTHEW 12:43-45
Most often, verses 43-45 are used to teach about demon possession and deliverance from evil spirits. Jesus made it clear that getting rid of an unclean spirit is only a part of deliverance. You must also fill the place that was previously occupied by the demonic spirit with the presence and power of God as protection.

Topic: Not Just a Man

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
—Colossians 1:17
Napoleon was right when he said, “I know men, and I tell you, Jesus is more than a man. Comparison is impossible between Him and any other human being who ever lived, because He was the Son of God.”

TOPIC: Born Again!

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 3:3

Born again. Do you know what Jesus had in mind when He said those two words to Nicodemus? He was talking covenant talk. He was telling Nicodemus what it meant to have a covenant with God.

TOPIC: YOU WILL RECOVER ALL

And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, sons nor daughters, neither spoil nor anything that they had taken to them: David recovered all.” 1 Samuel 30:19 KJV

Beloved, in the real sense of it, what you seem to have lost is not lost. The enemy that has apparently stolen from you is very much afraid of you and is only “keeping” the things he stole, waiting for when you would come back for them. Maybe you are asking: “But Brother Mike, how do you know?”

Now let us look at verse 2 of 1 Samuel chapter 30. “And had taken the women captives that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.” Did you see that? The Bible was careful to record that the enemies did not kill any of the captives, but carried them away. In fact, the word “recover” suggests that that which was stolen is still there, waiting for the owner to take the necessary steps to recover it.

Topic: Be Quiet! (Open Heaven 3 April 2019)

Memorise: “It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.”- Lamentations 3:26

Read: Isaiah 7:1-7 (KJV)

1 And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.

2 And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.

3 Then said the LORD unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller’s field;
