(LOCAL) ''My Daughter’s Blood Crying For Revenge,''Mother Of Lady Shot Dead By SARS

 
   The family of Ada Ifeanyi, who was allegedly shot dead by some police officers attached to the Trinity Police Station on Akpiri Street, Olodi Apapa, Lagos, has demanded justice for her death.

  The 20-year-old Ada was on Saturday allegedly shot dead by some police officers while she was returning from a club with her boyfriend, Emmanuel Akomafuwa. It was gathered that Ada, Emmanuel and one of her friends were accosted by the police personnel on their  way back home. It was learnt that Emmanuel refused to stop his car because those who asked them to stop were not in uniform and could not be identified as policemen.

(LOCAL) Police Arrest Kidnappers Of Channel TV Reporter

   The police have arrested three suspects in connection with the kidnap of a Channels Television reporter, Mr Friday Okeregbe.

   The Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarters, Abuja, Mr Frank Mba, in a statement on Sunday, identified the suspects as Hanniel Patrick, 29, from Akwa Ibom State; Abdulwahab Isah, 28; and Salisu Mohammed, 32, both from Kogi State.

(LOCAL) Court Orders Diezani To Forfeit Property In Lagos & Port Harcourt To Nigerian Govt



  The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says its Lagos zonal office has secured the interim forfeiture of property linked to a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, Donald Chidi Amangbo and Sequoyah Properties Limited. The commission made the announcement in a statement by Tony Orilade, the acting head of its media and publicity.
