(LOCAL) Nigerian Detainee Ibrahim Abubakar Released By Saudi Authorities

 

   Ibrahim Abubakar, a Nigerian who was detained alongside Zainab Aliyu in Saudi Arabia over alleged drug trafficking, has been released from a Saudi prison.

(LOCAL) Police Arrest Suspected Kidnappers Of Buhari’s ADC’s Father-In-Law

 
  Police in Katsina State on Wednesday said the suspects in connection with the abduction of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Aide de Camp (ADC)’s father-in-law, have been arrested. The spokesperson of the Katsina State police command, Gambo Isah, in a statement disclosed that Magajin Garin Daura, Alhaji Musa Uba, was abducted on Tuesday evening at his residence.

   He added that the kidnappers numbering six stormed the residence in a Peugeot 405, unregistered car, blue in colour, shot sporadically into the air, and abducted him. The State Commissioner of police and police patrol team later arrived the scene and arrested some of the suspects. One police officer was however hit during a gun-duel with the kidnappers.

(LOCAL) Anambra State House Of Assembly Pass Law Of Genotype Test Made Compulsory Before Marriage



  The law was passed on Tuesday, sponsored by Charles Ezeani member representing Anaocha II constituency and 15 others. It states that parents and guardians should not give out their children in marriage until a genotype test is carried out.
