(FOREIGN) US Former President, Jimmy Carter Falls, Breaks Hips

 
  Former President of US, Jimmy Carter is recovering from surgery after a fall on Monday, the Carter Center said. A statement said the 94-year-old Democrat fell at his home in Plains, Georgia, on his way to go turkey hunting, and later underwent a successful surgery.

(LOCAL) JAMB Remits N5bn To Federal Government



  The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) remitted N5 billion to the federal government’s coffers after the conduct of its 2019 unified tertiary matriculation examination (UTME). Fa bian Benjamin, JAMB’s head of media and information, disclosed this in the board’s weekly bulletin, tagged “JAMBULLETIN”.

   The Rehabilitation and Rescue Department of of the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development on Monday rescued triplets who were being used as an object for begging by their mother.

(FOREIGN) WhatsApp Asks 1.5 Billion Users To Update Apps, After Cyber Attacks



   WhatsApp on Monday urged all of its 1.5 billion users to update their apps as an added precaution against hackers who remotely install surveillance software on phones and other devices.

  According to reports, the hackers were able to operate using a major vulnerability in the messaging app. WhatsApp, which is owned by Facebook, said the attack targeted a “select number” of users, and was orchestrated by “an advanced cyber actor”. A fix was rolled out on Friday. The attack was developed by Israeli security firm NSO Group, according to a report in the Financial Times.

This scripture, as well as Matthew 15:12, reveals that people will be offended by the Gospel. As much as possible, however, we should make sure that it is not ourselves that are offensive. But we cannot labor under the deception that everyone will receive the Gospel, even if the truth was presented properly. We know that Jesus represented His Father perfectly and yet most people rejected His message.
