‘You Can’t Pocket Me, I Am Not Dollars’ -Wike Slams Ganduje

 

  Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has replied Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State over threat to take him to court for purportedly demolishing a mosque in Rivers, saying the Kano governor should know that he is not ‘Gandollar’ or a man who enjoyed bribery and falsehood.

Wike said it was baseless for Ganduje to threaten to take him to court when he never demolished any mosque in Rivers State, accusing him of being in the habit of making irresponsible comments about the State. Ganduje had threatened to take Wike to court over the purported demolition of a mosque in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

     The House of Odùduwà wishes to inform the general public, both locally and internationally, that ODÙDUWÀ MOBILE MUSEUM PROJECT is about to be unveiled. The historic event will be flagged-off on 7th September 2019 at the Brazilian Embassy in Lagos.
The museum is an initiative which involves the Ọọ̀ni of Ifẹ̀, the governments of Brazil and Cuba and over twenty other countries of the world.

   The whole event will last 60 days (two months) during which a number out of over 1000 awesome artefacts of African origin gathered from different parts of the world will be strategically moved from place to place within Lagos and exhibited for all to see.

Osinbajo, Ministers In Close Meeting Over UK $9.6 Billion Judgement

  Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Monday chaired a meeting over the $9.6 billion judgement against Nigeria. The $9.6 billion dollar judgment debt against Nigeria by a British court was over a botched gas contract.

Groups Protest At British High Commission Over Award Of $9.6bn To P&ID

The coalition of civil society groups on Monday protested the award of a $9.6 billion fine against Nigeria by a United Kingdom court following a botched oil deal with P&ID.

Process & Industrial Development Limited (P&ID) is the British engineering firm at the centre of the award by the UK court against Nigeria.


   The protesters gathered at the British and Irish Embassies in Abuja carrying various placards calling on authorities to promptly act on the matter.
