MTN Nigeria Closes Shops Nationwide

 

    South Africa owned telecommunications giant, MTN has announced the closure of all its shops in Nigeria. This may not be unconnected with the threat by some Nigerians to reciprocate the Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa. Already some of their outlets have already been burnt.

Supreme Court Sacks Ondo Lawmaker

 

   The Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld the removal of a member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, representing Okitipupa constituency 11, Mr. Sina Akinwumi. The apex court, therefore, upheld the judgment of the Court of Appeal sitting in Akure that set aside the election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmaker.
