Federal Government And Labour Reach Agreement On Minimum Wage

 

   The Federal Government and organised labour have reached an agreement on the implementation of  the new minimum wage after three days of talks that ran through nights and ended in the wee hours of mornings.

  President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the release of the sum of N10billion Special Intervention Fund for immediate repairs and upgrade of the Akanu Ibiam International airport, Enugu. This was the high point of the courtesy call on the President by a delegation of governors and leaders of the Southeast on Thursday at the State House in Abuja.

Buhari Orders Forensic Audit Of The Operations Of The NDDC

 

  Worried by the persistent criticisms of the operations of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered a forensic audit of the operations of the organisation from 2001 to 2019.

Ex-Lagos commissioners deny indicting Ambode in alleged 820 bus scandal

 

    Former Lagos commissioners, Mr Olusegun Banjo (Economic Planning and Budget) and Mr Olawale Oluwo (Energy and Mineral Resources), have denied indicting ex-governor Akinwunmi Ambode before an ad hoc committee of the state House of Assembly. The men on Thursday refuted reports that they incriminated their former boss in the statements they made to the committee.

Stranger disappears with one-year-old child in Ebonyi
