What is God's reason for prospering His people? Is it so we can watch bigger TVs? So we can buy finer houses and more luxurious cars?

Establishing God's covenant on the earth and giving to those in need: Those are God's purposes for prosperity!

Now, as in every period of history, people think they can manage without God.

Jesus stated His union with the Father so clearly that He was accused of blasphemy more than once. This statement about the Father being greater than Jesus must harmonize, not contradict other claims.

(NKJV) According to the book of Ephesians 5:30: “For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.”(KJV) We are one with Him. He is the head and we are His body. The book of 1 Corinthians 6:19 tells us “that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost”(KJV). And the book of 1 John 4:4 says: “You are of God little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world”(NKJV)
