Ethiopian Airline to resume flight to Athens December 13

 

   After 18 years, Ethiopian Airline will resume flight to Athens, Greece effective December  13, 2019, making it its 20th destination in Europe. The thrice weekly flight to Athens will be operated by the ultra-modern B787 dreamliner.

N50 PoS stamp duty charge begins

 

   The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Nigeria Interbank Settlement System (NIBSS) are working for the application of remittance processes to ensure the seamless collection of stamp duty charges for PoS. Many filing stations and supermarkets are already adding  the new fee to the customer’s purchases.

Supreme Court to hear Atiku’s appeal

 

    The Supreme Court will on Wednesday hear the appeal filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate in the last presidential election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

President Buhari depart Abuja for Saudi Arabia to attend the third edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII).

President Muhammadu Buhari will, on Monday, depart Abuja for Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to attend the third edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII).

According to a statement released by Garba Shehu, the president’s spokesman, on Sunday, the event is organised by Saudi’s Public Investment Fund (PIF).

Shehu said the event themed, ‘What’s Next for Global Business?’ will hold from October 29 to October 31, and focus on three key pillars: sustainable future, technology for good and advanced society.

Shehu said the three-day event would be chaired by Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, who is also the deputy premier, chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs and PIF.

NIS to introduce various categories of visa

 

 

   The Nigerian Immigration Service says it will soon introduce various categories of visas for the country as part of its visa reform. The Comptroller General of Immigration, Mohammad Babandede, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Benin.
