TREM Daily Devotional 1st November 2019 -DON’T DRAW BACK

“Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.”
Hebrews 10:38 KJV

The just, in other words, every believer and the born-again Christian shall live by faith. In today’s text, God is saying that if you do not live by faith, He is not going to be pleased with you. In other words, if I want God to be pleased with me, I must be ready to live by faith. That is why it is important to know what faith is.

Andrew Wommack Daily Devotional 1st November 2019 -One In Spirit

John 17:21 'That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.'

JOHN 17:21
Jesus is praying for all believers to be one as He and the Father are one.

This goes far beyond what many promote as unity today. Paul besought the Corinthians to 'all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment' (1 Cor. 1:10). This is God's standard of unity.

Kenneth Copeland Daily Devotional 1st November 2019 -The Power of Love

But faith...worketh by love.

Galatians 5:6

I used to wonder why we believers didn't see more of the power of God operating among us than we do. With what we know about faith and the Word, it seemed to me signs and wonders and miracles should be happening all the time.

So, one day I asked, "Lord, why isn't the power of God turned up to a higher volume in the Church?"

Do you know what He said? He told me we weren't walking in enough love yet.

God wants us to have power. But first, He has to be sure we'll use that power in love. He wants to know that we won't take it and mix it with judgment and criticism and blast people out of the water.

Billy Graham Daily Devotional 1st November 2019 -Triumph in Affliction

You don't understand now why I am doing it; some day you will.
—John 13:7 (TLB)
May I remind you that physical illness is not the worst thing that can happen to you? Some of the most twisted, miserable people I have ever met had no physical handicap. Some of the world’s greatest and most useful people have been handicapped.

“The Messiah” was composed by Handel, who was suffering from a paralyzed right side and arm. Catherine Booth, in the last year of her life, said that she could not remember one day free from pain.

Memorise: “When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.” – Psalm 27:2

Read: Isaiah 49:24-26 (KJV)

24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?

25 But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
