   President Muhammadu Buhari has said "the greatest honour Muslims could do the Prophet Muhammad is to follow his shining examples of non-violence, peaceful disposition and remarkable virtues of patience." In his goodwill message to the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the Maulud celebration to commemorate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad, President Buhari said:

  "Putting into practice the great virtues for which the Holy Prophet Muhammad is historically famous and revered would have a far greater impact on changing our attitudes and behaviours than the best sermons ever will.

Nigerian Woman Temitope Olaiya Who Pleaded Guilty On Multiple Crimes Set To Be Jailed


A Nigerian born-woman Temitope Ayoni Olaiya, a.k.a Tammy Olaiya, faces on 28 February, 2020 a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison over the importation of 7kg of cocaine into the United States. The 40 year-old woman also faces sentencing for her role in a bank fraud scheme, and to making false statements relating to fraudulent claims submitted to Medicaid for reimbursement.

She pleaded guilty to all the offences. U.S. District Judge Liam O’Grady accepted the plea. Assistant U.S. Attorney Katherine E. Rumbaugh is prosecuting the case, according to a statement by Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of Virginia. “Tammy Olaiya is a ‘triple threat’ of criminality – drug trafficker, a fraudster, and a liar,” said G. Zachary Terwilliger, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Police officer caught on video taking bribe


The Nigeria Police Force says it has arrested the police officer caught on video collecting bribe from an innocent Nigerian. A statement issued by Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Frank Mba said the police officer has been identified and arrested.

Domestic workers cart away celebrity’s N243m jewelry


  Two domestic workers who connived and stole a Cuban Diamond neck chain, a Frank Muller and Rolex wrist watches worth N243 million belonging to their employer have been arrested in Borno after almost two weeks of fleeing Lekki, Lagos.

The suspects: Alex Obinyan (39), cleaner and Ayuba Samson (29), car washer, were arrested after they had sold the Cuban Diamond neck chain and Frank Muller wrist watch for N6m and N4m respectively in Lagos and Abuja.

The identity of their employer, whom sources confirmed is a popular celebrity with vast investment in Lekki, Lagos is being kept under wrap by the police. Obinyan, source disclosed had spent over eight years working and living with the celebrity in Lekki before the incident.

His colleague, Ayuba started working at the celebrity’s residence only two months ago after returning from Chibok, his home town. They earned N80,000 and N50,000 monthly.

The suspects and the buyers of the jewelry were brought to Rapid Response Squad headquarters, by the Decoy Team of the agency in an unbranded vehicle after an 8 day investigative activities to Abuja and Borno State.

It is not our individual acts of sin that make us a sinner. It is our sin nature that makes us commit individual acts of sin. Adam’s one sin produced a sin nature in all men that in turn, caused each person to commit individual acts of sin. Jesus not only dealt with the original sin that contaminated the human race, but He also dealt with each individual act of sin.
