A total of 430 candidates from Delta State have
scaled through the ongoing recruitment exercise into the Nigeria Police Force.
According to the online portal of the Nigeria Police Service Commission, about 268 of the successful candidates from the state are constables, 83 specialists, 50 inspector cadets and 29 ASP cadets.

It would be recalled that over a million of
Nigerians including Deltans applied for the recruitment exercise out which
about ten thousand were successful nationwide.
From the police online portal about 7,500
constables, 500 ASP cadets, 500 inspector cadets and 1,500 specialists that cut
across all the cadres, were successful in the country as a whole. When contacted on the
matter, Police Public Relations Officer in Delta State, ASP Andrew Aniamaka,
confirmed the release of the list of successful candidates on the police online
portal.
