Le Roy names strong Afcon squad.

Togo coach Claude Le Roy has named a strong squad of 25 players who will start preparations for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations that will be hosted by Gabon from January 14 to February 5.

The squad will be led by skipper Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor who has been training hard for the African football showpiece.
Nigeria-based defender Douhadji Joseph returns to the squad, with Nakadu Victor, who plays for Entente 2 of Togo, being the surprise inclusion.
Togo start their residential training on New Year’s Day with the coach expected to drop two players before the tournament gets under way.
The Hawks are in Group C together with Ivory Coast, DR Congo and Morocco.
