As part of the pro-active measures by the command to maintain peace and security in Delta state Police Command is inviting Fulani herdsmen for a meeting on Sundayat the Officers’ Mess in Ogbe.
Police Public Relation officer of the state command, DSP Andrew Animaka explained that the meeting was aimed at ending the menace of herdsmen/residents clashes.
Meanwhile, the Police spokesman confirmed reports of some hoodlums barricading the Ohorhor-Bomadi road, as they dispossessed passengers of their goods and valuables.
According to him, men of the force were swiftly deployed to the scene immediately it got the information.
