NO fewer than 150 illegal revenues collectors have been arrested in Anambra State within three months

  Managing Director of Ocha Brigade, an enforcement agency, Kenneth Okonkwo, disclosed this to newsmen while arraigning eight of such suspects at the Nteje Magistrate court.


   He said the arrests of the illegal revenue collectors followed the abolition of some levies and taxes in the state by the State Governor, Willie Obiano, to cushion the effect of the economic recession in the country.

  Okonkwo said the suspects, who were arrested in various locations in the state, would be arraigned in turns in their magisterial districts.
