students wishing to pursue undergraduate and post graduate degrees outside Nigeria begin Bilateral Education Agreement Scholarship Award

Prospective students wishing to pursue undergraduate and post graduate degrees outside the shores of Nigeria, have begun screening for the Bilateral Education Agreement Scholarship Award.

Abdullahi Jibrin of the Federal Scholarship Board told journalists in Kaduna that the exercise, which would last till Friday, is taking place in the six geopolitical zones of the country and would see about 200 beneficiaries being selected based on their performance at the interview.
According to him, the countries award full scholarship to the beneficiaries and participating countries only support the students maintenance fees.
He however disclosed that there was low participation of students from the Northwest Zone over the past 30 years even as he urged students from the zone to tap into the opportunity.
Meanwhile, only China, Russia and Turkey would accept candidates for post graduate studies this year.
