Bournemouth hold Manchester United at Old Trafford

Jose Mourinho’s team dominated from the start and led when Marcos Rojo deflected in Antonio Valencia’s shot on 23 minutes.

AFC Bournemouth were level after 40 minutes when Marc Pugh was brought down and Joshua King converted from the spot against his former team.

The Cherries’ hopes of a result were hit when Andrew Surman received a second yellow card just before half-time.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic had a chance to win it for United in the 71st minute but Artur Boruc saved his penalty.

AFC Bournemouth’s first point at Old Trafford keeps them 14th on 27 points. United moved level on 49 points with Liverpool
