The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday passed an executive bill seeking mutual assistance in criminal matters between Nigeria and foreign states. The bill, Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters between Nigeria and other Foreign States, 2017 (SB. 224) was read for the third time at plenary and eventually passed.
