The Portugese 23-year-old has been closely followed by Spurs throughout his two-season loan spell at French club Nice, which ended last month. With rumours about Kyle Walker possible move to Manchester City, Tottenham are considering signing Porto right-back Ricardo Pereira.
Reports earlier this week tell that Man City are preparing to approach Tottenham over Walker imminently. And, as an aggressive, fast, attacking wing-back and full-back, Pereira fits the profile that Mauricio Pochettino is looking for to replace him.
Also, Spurs are keen to add another centre-back, central midfielder and attacker to their squad, while they are also interested in Fulham left-back Ryan Sessegnon.
