First Bank Branch At Onitsha Main Market Catch Fire

   

A fire incident occurred today at First bank Plc branch reportedly along new market road of main market, Onitsha, Anambra State. It was reported that the fire started at about 2p.m at the security office of the bank and has already burnt a Hilux van belonging to the bank.

    It was gathered that there was no fire service officials at the fire scene and the cause of fire could not be ascertained but the traders and other young boys were trying to put out the fire which was also raging at the time of filling this report. Heavy security were reported to be at the scene to stop probable looting at the bank.
