Abducted Dapchi Schoolgirls ‘Return’

Many of the girls who were kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists from a school in Dapchi town in Yobe State have been released.

Unfortunately, at least two of the girls are reported to have died as a result of the trauma while one of them was not released. One of the girls told Channels Television in an interview on Wednesday hours after their arrival that they were not maltreated throughout the period in captivity.

There is jubilation in the town even with the heavy presence of security operatives. However, details of the girls’ return are still sketchy while the exact number of those that returned have yet to be ascertained. We Won’t Rest Until Chibok, Dapchi Schoolgirls Are Free, Says Buhari
