Nigerian singer Ali Zainab Nielsen popularly known as Alizee and her four year-old daughter have been reportedly murdered by her Italian husband, Peter Nielsen at their Banana Island home in Lagos.
Alizee and her daughter, Petra Nielsen were murdered at the family’s residence at Ocean Parade, Banana Island in the early hours of Thursday. Alizee’s corpse along with that of her daughter were said to have been deposited in a mortuary for autopsy. Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Chike Oti, while speaking on the incident said:
“The state Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, has ordered the arrest of the suspect and he is in police custody. It is pre-emptive now to ascertain the cause of the incident. The CP has dispatched crime scene investigators to the place to pick evidences for analysis which can be used for prosecution. “The command has also written the Embassy of the suspect that the police are investigating the case.”
Alizee had celebrated her birthday January 10th, 2018; 85 days before she met her untimely death in the most gruesome way. Alizee had also dropped her latest song, Alhaji Musa same day. Alizee was scheduled to perform at Harrysong’s ‘Kingmaker Concert’ coming up on the 29th of this month at the Warri Stadium.
