The Governors of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun, Plateau State, Simon Lalong, former Governor of Abia State, Orji Kalu on Wednesday visited President Muhammadu Buhari at his hometown in Daura, Katsina State. Other dignitaries who visited the President include Minister of Water Resources, Suleiman Adamu Kazaure, and Senator Uche Ekwunife. President Buhari earlier arrived Daura on Monday evening to celebrate Eid-El-Kabir.
In his Sallah message, the President called on citizens to promote harmony and tolerance in dealing with one another at all times. He urged all Muslims to use the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations for sober reflection and self-examination, as well as strive to be good ambassadors of Islam by upholding high moral values.
